Welcome to MASHALLAH
MASHALLAH is a beloved jewelry collection from Chicago based designer Mashallah Ghouleh. Each piece of MASHALLAH is “wearable sculpture”, influenced by shapes and metaphysical properties found in gemstones, which hold significance rooted in a deeper universal meaning. MASHALLAH consists of a jewelry collection and scarf collection.
A Note From The ArtistOur jewelry collection this season is very special as it incorporates 100% handmade recycled metal straight fro Ghana and beautiful gemstones. The metal comes from electronic waste mainly from the United States that is shipped to dump sites in Ghana. The villagers find the most valuable items and extract the semi-precious metal to create beautiful geometric shapes. By doing this the villagers significantly reduce the negative effects of electronic waste to humans and our planet.
There is astute significance to each handcrafted necklace, bracelet, earring and ring. As we incorporate shapes (diamond, circle and square) and gemstones (quartz, pearl and druzy) into our designs. The diamond a powerful universal form stands for the creation of life. The circle represents the eternal whole, they protect and suggest community, integrity and perfection. The square represents the relationship between the human and the divine, it also peacefulness, security and equality. Wearing like carrying or meditating with Quartz crystal opens the mind and heart to higher guidance. Pearls suggest purity and innocence. While the druzy stone purifies and amplifies the body’s natural healing properties and strengthens the spirit by reducing stress, re-energizing the body and emotionally uplift.
The scarves are all handmade and adorned by 2 inches of bead trim. They offer an easy way to add a chic touch to any outfit and can also be worn as a shawl.
Every piece of MASHALLAH jewelry is intended for layering, stacking, mixing, matching and can be worn anytime, anywhere.
MASHALLAH is designed and manufactured with love, meticulous craftsmanship and detail in Chicago.
As a result of using natural stones no two pieces are the exact same, each is uniquely individual.
